German Chocolate Pie
Ingredients -
3 cups Granulated Sugar
8 tablespoons Baking Cocoa
14 ounces Evaporated Milk
4 Large Eggs, beaten
1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
2 cups Flaked Coconut
1 cup Pecans, chopped
2 (9-inch) Unbaked Pie Crusts
Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

2. Melt butter or margarine and set aside.

3. In medium bowl, combine sugar and baking cocoa.

4. Stir in milk, beaten eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract. Blend very well.

5. Stir in flaked coconut and chopped pecans.

6. Pour pie filling equally between pie shells.

7. Bake pies 40 minutes, or until filling is set around the edges.

8. Cool pies on wire racks.
