Blueberry Cream Pie

Heavy cream combined with cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Mixture is spread into pie shell and topped with blueberry pie filling. Refrigerated until ready to serve.
Ingredients -
3/4 cup chopped Walnuts
1 (9-inch) Deep Dish Pie Shell
2 (3 ounces) packages Cream Cheese, at room temperature
1 cup Confectioner' s Sugar
1 cup Heavy Cream
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 (21 ounces) can Blueberry Pie Filling
 
Preparation:

1. Press chopped walnut into bottom of pie shell.

2. Bake pie shell according to package directions and cool.

3. Add cream cheese and confectioners sugar to bowl. Beat until smooth.

4. Separately beat heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form.

5. Fold heavy cream mixture into cream cheese.

6. Spoon into cooled pie shell.

7. Top with blueberry pie filling.

8. Refrigerate until well chilled.

You could substitute another favorite nut for the walnuts, such as pecans or hickory nuts.
