Peanut Butter Cream Pie

Delicious pie starts with oreo cookie crumb and peanut butter crust. Crust is filled with cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar and whipping cream mixture.
Ingredients -
Crust:
1 1/2 cups Oreo Cookie Crumbs
1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Filling:
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 3/4 cups Powdered Sugar
3 cups Whipping Cream

 
Preparation:

Crust:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Combine oreo cookie crumbs and creamy peanut butter in small bowl.

3. Spoon and shape mixture into 9-inch pie pan.

4. Bake until set, 7 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling:
1. Stir cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.

2. In separate bowl whip cream to stiff peaks.

3. Fold whip cream into cream cheese mixture.

4. Pour pie filling into pie shell.

5. Chill pie 3 to 4 hours before serving.

You could certainly use crunchy peanut butter for this recipe, especially when making the crust.

Make pie dough the day before. Roll dough out into preferred shape and then refrigerate dough 1 hour prior to using.
